Terms of Service

Plane Spotter's Live shows an estimated active runway, live traffic, sun angle, and places people have used to photograph aircraft. It is information, not a clearance, a permit, or an instruction to go somewhere.

Accounts

Visitors and free signed-in users see the same map and the same public information. A signed-in user can vote, save a pin, send a spot tip, and report content. Pro ($29 billed yearly) unlocks extra flight-board rows. The service is not directed at children. You must check the box, I confirm I am 16 or older, before an account is created. We do not collect a date of birth or an identity document.

Your content

Spots, pins, notes, and votes are yours, and you give us permission to show them on the service. Do not post private addresses you are not allowed to share, threats, or instructions to enter a restricted area. We may remove content. Use Report on a community spot or pin if something is wrong. Reports are stored with your user id.

Safety

Spot data is informational. Obey local law, airport security rules, and private-property rules. Do not trespass. Never enter airside or any restricted area. Drone use is your responsibility and is often illegal near airports. Stay outside the perimeter fence. A pin on this map is not permission to stand there.

No warranty

Runway calls, wind, sun times, and spot positions can be wrong. The service is provided as is, without a warranty of accuracy, safety, or fitness for a purpose, to the extent the law allows.

Payment and cancellation

Pro is $29 billed yearly. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Account settings or on the Cancel contract page. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not need an email to a person. Before you pay, you confirm the renewal and, if you want access immediately, you acknowledge that the 14-day EU withdrawal right ends once the digital service starts. If you do not want that, do not subscribe.
